School is out!
Well, almost! We just got back from our appointment with our evaluator. For those of you new to PA homeschooling rules and jargon. Every year, we must meet with a licensed teacher/principle, and have them review Jacob's portfolio (documentation of the work we did throughout the year). In 3rd, 5th, and 8th grade, the students need to be tested to, well, test their performance. This year was the first testing meeting for us. We were a little nervous, never really knowing how much is sinking into Jacob's brain. But he did really well, and has been promoted to 6th grade. Can you believe we have a 6th grader!?
And as much as we'd like to close the books and vegetate for the next few months, we will be continuing to finish our curriculum and keeping jacob's brain running, at least on a lower gear, if nothing else. But we will be able to relax a little more. Thanks for your prayers.

Here are some highlights from Jacob's school year.
Jacob started taking guitar lessons this year. Guess who his biggest fan is?
Italian circus at the UPENN kids festival.
Jacob's first masterpiece that he made at one of his art lessons at Cheltenham Art Center.
